We have a second blue drink in a row this episode, because we have already had someone take advantage of our BUY US A DRINK promotion. Bryan Jones donated $5 to our PayPal and wanted me to make a drink he created called:
POSEIDON COCKTAIL
His instructions were to add 2 parts gin to one part blue raspberry snow cone mix and fill with tonic water. He said he made it in a blender. I changed it up slightly using crushed ice:
· 2 oz. (60 ml) gin
· 1 oz. (30 ml) blue raspberry snow cone mix
· 6 fresh raspberries
· Muddle the raspberries in the bottom of a shaker
· Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice
· Strain into a Collins glass with crushed ice
· Fill with tonic water
o Approx. 3 oz. (90 ml)
o Garnish with fresh raspberries and a lime wedge
o Since you may not have blue raspberry snow cone mix on hand, you can make your own blue raspberry snow cone simple syrup
§ 2 cups sugar
§ 1 cup water
§ 1 package blue raspberry Kool Ade
· Bring to a boil and chill
