Good news, you slugs in a ditch, we got a Buy Us a Drink cocktail to try! This comes from our friend Bryan Jones, who you might remember also bought us a “Poseidon” cocktail back on episode 181. Like that drink, this one is an original of his. It’s called a:
BEAM & CREAM
· 2 oz. (60 ml) of Jim beam
· 1 can or 12 oz cream soda
· Pretty simple recipe. Combine the ingredients in a tall glass over ice. Garnish with spray whipped cream. I could not find spray whipped cream so I had to get a tub of Cool Whip.
· I wanted us to try the recipe as written, but then I had an addendum I thought we could try that I think will work really well with the spices in both the whiskey and the soda.
· I think some grated nutmeg would set this off nicely – Townsends approved. And apropos for the season
