Okay so I didn’t even try to shoehorn this one into making sense, so if you guys can, do so, also I altered the recipe because traditionally, and in the book this recipe is non-alcoholic. I altered it a bit.

· 1 jigger Bourbon (Basil Hayden)
· 1 unbroken egg yolk
· Pinch of salt
· 1 tsp lemon juice
· 1 tsp Worcestershire (I subbed my 18th century mushroom ketchup)
· 1 drop Tabasco
· Pinch of black pepper
· In lieu of salt I sprinkled it with the dehydrated leavings from my mushroom ketchup recipe
Make this yummy and popular 18th century sauce. It might sound a little weird but it is very tasty. It is no wonder cooks would put in just about anything.
