THE SPAGHETT
This cocktail was created in 2016 by bartender Reed Cahill at Wet City Brewery in Baltimore, Maryland. And yes, it’s named after the bizarre, sauce-loving character played by Tim Heidecker from Tim and Eric Awesome Show. “I saw him hiding behind the plant back there, I thought he was the boss’s son or something.” This drink is also known as a Hobo Negroni. If you use OJ instead of lemon juice, it’s a Bro-Mosa. For this cocktail you will need:
1 oz. (30 ml) Aperol
An Italian aperitif, similar to Campari but sweeter and much less bitter, with more orange notes
½ oz. (15 ml) lemon juice
1 bottle of Miller High Life beer
Refrigerate all the ingredients ahead of time, since there’s no ice.
Drink off about 2 oz (60 ml) of the beer
Pour Aperol and lemon juice into the bottle
Garnish with a lemon wedge
