THE JUNGLE BIRD COCKTAIL
· 1 ½ oz. (45 ml) black strap rum
· ¾ oz. (25 ml) Campari
· 1 ½ oz. pineapple juice
· ½ oz. (15 ml) lime juice
· ½ oz. demerara syrup
o If you don’t have demerara sugar, an equal mix of white and brown sugar will work. Also, there’s so little syrup in this, you probably won’t be able to tell the difference
· Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube
· Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry
o I actually chose a different glass because I haven’t used this one yet and I think it works for this cocktail
