HEY! We’re all still in quarantine here so I again went off-book for a simpler, classic recipe on the off-chance all of you guys might have the ingredients.
THE CARLY HIGHSCHOOLER HIGHBALL
A highball is basically a catchall name for a drink predominantly made from a liquor and a mixer. Like a rum and coke, or 7&7, served in a tall Collins glass.
This one is a whiskey highball. You can use any kind of whiskey you want, Irish, Scotch, bourbon…I went with Cutty Sark scotch.
o 1 part whiskey
o 2 parts ginger ale or club soda
o Lemon wedge or twist
Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in the whiskey and top with soda. Drink it.
